Three people were arrested by Fayetteville police on May 5 after an altercation in a parking lot on North Glynn Street.
Ariana Acree Blankenship, 22, of McDonough, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness; Edward Cody Donaldson, 22, of Williamson, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness; and Jarvis Louis Redding, 25, of Brooks, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to Detective Mike Whitlow.
Whitlow said an off-duty Fayetteville police officer was working security at the La Hacienda restaurant where a “Cinco De Mayo” celebration was being held.
The officer at approximately 10:25 p.m. was notified of a fight in the vacant parking lot adjacent to La Hacienda.
The officer responded as did additional Fayetteville officers and Fayette County sheriff’s deputies, said Whitlow.
Whitlow said officers were able to garner witnesses who identified the main subjects involved.
Blankenship, Donaldson and Redding were transported to the Fayette County Jail, Whitlow said
