Helen Duke Woods, 90, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Willard Woods; her parents, Alonza Bryan and Velma Duke.
She is survived by her son Bryan (Susan) Woods of Fayetteville; her grandsons, Jason and Evan Woods of Auburn, Ala.; her sister, Grace Henderson of Raleigh, N.C.; nieces Gail (Bob) Werstlein of Raleigh, N.C., and Denise Hunt of Lynchburg, Va.; and nephew, Gaines (Jeannie) Nichols of Chickamauga, Ga. A special thank you to her loving caregivers: Penny Hope, Cindy O’Neal, and Mary Banks.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Christ’s Church at Whitewater, Fayetteville, Ga. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Stephen Carpenter will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ’s Church at Whitewater.
