Holy Week begins at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church with a Reader’s Theater presentation of the events in Jesus’s last week.
“The Cry of the Whole Congregation,” by noted pastor/author/professor Walter Wangerin, incorporates the voices of Peter, Pilate, Judas and the Thief on the cross.
The narrator also speaks the words of Jesus.
Four different actors will make the presentation at each of the four services, Saturday, March 28, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 29, at 8:30, 10:50, and 11 a.m.
The drama replaces the normal worship structure.
Soloist Karl Dietmeyer and clarinet duo Elizabeth Wampler and Roger Callison will provide music.
There is no charge, and all are invited.
The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.
