The first meeting of the South Metro GeorgiaCarry.Org chapter was a big success with 2nd amendment supporters from seven south metro counties attending, according to organizers.

Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb and GCO Executive Director Jerry Henry spoke at length to about 50 attendees on various topics, including firearm safety, training, and current legislation.

The next chapter meeting is April 23 at the American Heritage Gun Range, 775 Highway 42 North in McDonough. Call 678-432-4867 for directions.

At the April meeting, participants will have time for fellowship, tour the facility, hear a guest speaker, hear from GCO board
members, and finish up any remaining open chapter discussion items.

Go to the group’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1381388795512085/ for more information and to RSVP to the meeting.

Anyone interested in learning more and supporting the aims and goals
of GCO is welcome to attend. Membership is encouraged and can be completed at http://www.georgiacarry.org/.

GCO is Georgia’s no compromise voice for gun owners, and believes informed, active gun owners are the best defense against those who endeavor to infringe upon liberties.
