James P. “Jim” Gray, of Fairburn, left us on March 13, 2015 at the age of 60.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid car buff. Jim worked in sales for many years and had a prosperous sign business.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine and Jack Gray, his father-in-law, Gordon Andersen, and his brother-in-law, Robert D. G. Andersen.

Jim is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gray, mother-in-law, June Andersen, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Barbara Poust, nieces Elizabeth Andersen and Anna Poust; and his seven brothers and sisters: Ellen Murphy, her husband, Jack, and their sons, Bill and David; Joe Gray and his wife, Michele, and their children Megan and Jack and his wife, Kristen; Bill Gray and his wife, Daphne, and their children Nick, Olivia, and her husband, Taylor; Tom Gray and his wife Bona and their sons Will and John; Anne Sasser and her husband, Ewell, and their children James and Grace; Lorrie Gunter and her husband, David, and his son Riley; Mary Tuck and her husband Cas and their children Mitchell, Harris, Jessica and her husband, Andrew; Bobby Gray and his wife, Amy and children: Abigail Sloan, her husband, Jimmie; Hannah(Paul), Benjamin, Gabriel, Jacob, Claire and great nephew, Landon.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Deacon Gregory Pecore officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn, College Park, Ga. immediately after the service.  

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening, March 17, 2015.
