The Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra will perform with Richard Bell as conductor on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The Atlanta-based Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra is devoted to meeting the cultural needs of audiences and performers in the Southern Crescent area of the city. Members of the orchestra include professional and amateur musicians, as well as music educators and students, all of whom strive to realize their musical potential in presenting the finest performances. The orchestra joins forces with the Clayton State University Orchestra under the baton of faculty conductor Bell.

Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available for purchase now.

The Atlanta Chamber Players with artistic director Elizabeth Pridgen on piano will perform Friday, Feb. 27, at 8:15 p.m.

When the Atlanta Chamber Players returns for its annual Spivey Hall performance, the group will be joined by noted soloists and chamber musicians Amy Schwartz Moretti and Julie Albers. The program, “2 + 3,” includes small ensemble works by Martinu and Debussy, ending with the Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor, Op.34.
