“The Fred” has announced its Summer Concert Series and it promises to be one of the best with Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick performing the same night, Al Jarreau singing “We Are The World,” a Chicago tribute, and a spectacular Queen retrospective.

The Fred, formally known as Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater in Peachtree City, will host the 2015 Lexus of South Atlanta Summer Concert Series from May 9 to Aug. 15.

The line-up includes;

May 9 – Night Ranger
It all started when five hard-rockin’ kids from the San Francisco Bay Area joined forces in the early 80s to form Night Ranger. Like no other 80s rock band, Night Ranger both epitomized and transcended the sound and style of that decade. “Sister Christian; You Can Still Rock in America;” and “When You Close Your Eyes.”

June 6 – Al Jarreau
Al Jarreau’s unique vocal style is one of the world’s most precious treasures. His innovative musical expressions have made him one of the most exciting and critically-acclaimed performers of modern times with five Grammy Awards, scores of international music awards and popular accolades worldwide.
His repertoire includes “We’re in this Love Together; Moonlighting; We are the World.”

June 13 – Michael McDonald
The five-time Grammy-winning McDonald is that rare thing in contemporary pop – an artist whose work is both timeless and ever-evolving.
He does it all from ‘70s-era Doobie Brothers classics such as “What A Fool Believes” and solo hits like “I Keep Forgettin,’” to highly acclaimed Motown cover albums and recent genre-busting guest spots with alternative buzz bands Grizzly Bear and Holy Ghost.

July 11 – KC and The Sunshine Band
Put on your dancing shoes. Disco is back at The Fred. The group’s most well-known songs include the “That’s the Way (I Like It); (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty; I’m Your Boogie Man; Keep It Comin’ Love; Get Down Tonight; Boogie Shoes” and “Give It Up.”

August 15 – Cheap Trick And Peter Frampton – Two awesome rock legend groups performing the same night! Don’t miss this blockbuster show! It’s sure to be a sell-out.

What happens when eight of Canada’s most in-demand musicians and singers gather together out of a common love for the greatest jazz-rock group of all time? Brass Transit, Toronto’s dynamic, crowd-pleasing, studio-tight Chicago Tribute.
The band’s show includes all the hits from Chicago’s golden age. With a world-class horn section, a rocking rhythm section and vocals stacked sky-high, Brass Transit transports its audience back to the freewheeling days of the ‘70s.
