Christopher “Chris” Alan Rosa, 34, of Newnan, Ga. passed away Feb. 2, 2015.
He was born on Oct. 9, 1980 in Plantation, Fla.
Chris was a graduate of Fayette Christian High School in Fayetteville, Ga. He owned R & C Auto Repair in Peachtree City for many years and was a talented mechanic. He loved building, driving, and racing fast cars. He worked out and stayed in shape. He was very family oriented and was always helping others and putting them first.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Michael Rosa.
Chris is survived by his parents, Susan Rosa Ontko and James Ontko of McCaysville, Ga.; two brothers, Ryan Rosa and Jim Ontko; grandparents, Richard and Judy Schofield; aunt, Linda Schofield; aunt and uncle, David and Sandy Rosa; and three cousins, Mike, Cate, and Nick Rosa.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Ga. with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Chris’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
