Area students named to college honor rolls

Area students continue to collect honors after leaving home as shown by their listing on college honor rolls for the Fall 2014 session at their colleges.

Three Fayetteville natives were recently named to the Dean’s List at Reinhardt University. They are Tanner Baker, Brittany Gaddy and Lindsay New.
Reinhardt University is a private comprehensive university grounded in the liberal arts and affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

Kathryn Renee Tacy from Fayetteville was named to the Dean’s List at Wofford College, a liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church and located in Spartanburg, SC.

Matthew Stephen Andriotty of Fayetteville, was named to the Dean’s List at the College of William & Mary, the second oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.

Madeline Robinson of Newnan was named to the Dean’s List at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.

Jacob Alexander Skiotis of Sharpsburg was named to the Dean’s List at Norwich University, one of the nation’s six senior military colleges and
the birthplace of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).

Evie Hahn, a junior Middle Level Science/Math major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction. She is a 2012 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Hahn (Christine) of Tyrone. The college is a private liberal arts school set in a Christian environment in Grove City, PA.

Peachtree City native Shelby Harrelson was named to the Troy University Chancellor’s List, which requires a grade point average of 4.0. Troy is a public institution in Alabama that has been recognized by the Princeton Review as “one of the best in the Southeast,” by U.S. News & World Report as “one of the top universities in the South,” and by Military Times as “a top university for troops.”

Franziska Harms of Fayetteville has been named to the Dean’s Honor Roll at Oklahoma City University, a non-profit, comprehensive, private United Methodist university.

William Ford, a senior professional sales major of Fayetteville, and Emily Parsons, a senior early childhood education major of Tyrone, are on the Harding University Dean’s List. Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas.

Three Peachtree City natives were named to the Dean’s List at Arizona State University. They are Piper Benson, Erik Lien and Jessica Roberson.
