The public is invited to experience the rustic and moving sounds of Appalachian Winter, a Christmas cantata by Joseph Martin, performed by the music ministry of Fayette Presbyterian Church, at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14.
The cantata features the sounds of Christmas folk music passed down from generation to generation and retells the message of Christ’s coming. The annual Brunch with Santa, a fund raiser for the youth program, will follow the cantata service.
