Rick Jones, 64, of Fayetteville, Georgia, died Sunday, November 16, 2014.

Rick Jones is survived by his wife, Allene Jones; daughter Kelley (Michael) Meyers; and son Daniel (Caroline) Jones; and grandchildren, Katelyn Meyers, age 2; and Lily Jones, age 14 months.

He is also survived by his sister, Cindy (John) Davis, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Jones, and his father, Richard Jones, Sr.

Rick graduated from Briarwood High School in 1968. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he worked for the College Park Police Department. He was a passionate member of all Saints Anglican Church. His favorite pastime was playing with his “grandgirls.” He also enjoyed The War Between the States History and Military History. Additionally, Rick enjoyed exploring and camping in the North Georgia mountains.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., December 13, 2014, at All Saints Anglican Church, 149 Ebenezer Road, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215.
