The fourth annual 5k for missions at Woolsey Baptist Church will be held Saturday, Dec. 6. Registration is now open and continues through Friday, Dec. 5 (2-4 p.m.) and until 7:30 a.m. on race day.
A 1k (kid’s fun run) begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 5k at 9 a.m. The cost is $10 for the 1k and $25 for the 5k with a family max of $60. The family max is not available with online registration or with registrations after Nov. 23.
Hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, water and breakfast items will be served afterwards.
After the 5k race, an awards ceremony will be held, with awards presented for the 5k and special prizes for the 1k. Door prizes will also be given away.
Race T-shirts will be available while they last, but are not guaranteed for those registering after Nov. 23 and on race day.
This is a USATF Certified out and back 5k run/walk or 1k fun run.
All proceeds go to support Woolsey’s mission partners.
