The Healing Bridge Clinic in Peachtree City recently hosted an awareness banquet at First Presbyterian Church PTC to inform those attending about its ministry. The evening included live music, photos, and a meal. The banquet honored Ms. Ruth McCammon whose original vision led to the formation of the clinic.
The Healing Bridge Clinic exists to serve the uninsured and underinsured of Fayette, Coweta, and South Fulton Counties with quality, professional medical care. Its staff provides free routine, non-emergency medical and nursing care normally provided at family practice centers.
“Doctors and volunteers seek to communicate and demonstrate God’s love as well as offer spiritual information and guidance,” a spoksperson said.
Former and current board members attended. Current Board President, Mike Conaway said he considered the evening a success.
“Our intent was to raise awareness of our work here and to raise a little money along the way,” said Conaway. “Both goals were achieved.” He added they will consider making it an annual event.
The clinic operates every Thursday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. and is located at 215 Willow Bend Road in Peachtree City. Those interested in making an appointmentare asked to call 770-681-0157.
