Mrs. Glenda J. Grant, age 70 of Brooks, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Mrs. Grant was born in Griffin, Ga. on July 14, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Lee Phillips and Elsie Foster Phillips; brothers, Claude Phillips and Wilbur Phillips. Mrs. Grant was retired from Kroger, and was a member of North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Winfred Grant; son, Ryan Grant; sisters, Etheleen Davis and Vernell Grant; several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Glenda J. Grant will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will follow in Brooks Memory Gardens.
