Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City, will offer Financial Peace University on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. at the church, beginning Sept. 17 [tonight]. The course runs seven weeks.
More than 1.5 million families and individuals have completed FPU, which makes use of print and video materials by Dave Ramsey.
Ramsey experienced personal financial ruin some years ago, and he turned to the Bible to find a way out.
Rick Wampler (rrwampler@gmail.com) and Harold Denton will lead the course at Christ Our Shepherd. Both are FPU “alumni.”
According to Wampler, “Whether you are struggling to make ends meet or you’re a millionaire, FPU has something for you.”
Studies show the average family completing the course experiences significant financial improvement, with added benefits of relief and peace of mind.
The class materials cost $99, but financial aid will enable some families to participate.
