Mrs. Evelyn Newton Pyke, age 79, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles B. Pyke, Sr. and is survived by her daughter, Anne Pyke Miller and her husband Kevin of Tyrone; son, Charles B. Pyke, Jr. and his wife Lane of McDonough; grandchildren, Brandon Charles Miller and his wife Jessica, Caitlin Marie Miller, Charles (Chad) B. Pyke, III, Chandler Robert Pyke, Emily Anne Miller; brother, Gene Newton and his wife Doris of Gay; sister, Joyce Newton Hutcheson and her husband Wayne of Senoia.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Minister Craig Kingston officiating. Interment Westview Cemetery. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.
