Robert Martin DeMine, Sr., 80, of Brooks, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014.
Mr. DeMine was the owner/operator of Bob DeMine Heating and Air. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW Post in Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty DeMine. He is survived by daughters Barbara (Keith) Wills of Gainesville and Brenda (Rodney) McCranie of Lawrenceville; son Robert M. (Carole) DeMine, Jr. of Brooks; 8 grandchildren; sister Dolly Becton of Savannah; brother Thomas (Rose) DeMine of Savannah.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Shelia Crowe will officiate. The burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
