0Robert “Bob” Vaughan Hunter, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014.
He grew up in College Park and was a member of the 1958 graduating class of College Park High School. He enjoyed fishing and playing the piano.
He was preceded in death by his parents Horace Randolph & Helen Markey Hunter and grandson Corey Allen Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Marian Nelson Hunter; daughters Abigail (Bobby) Davis of Fayetteville, Terrie Henson-Sandman of Cumming, and Torey (Mitchell) Rose of Snellville; grandchildren Dustin (Ashley) Davis, Brent Davis, Jeremy (Haley) Davis, Chad Davis, Laurie Davis, Danny Davis, Jordan Davis, Kyra (Ron ) Lakhany, Cassandra Davis, David Henson, Ryan Sandman, Donna (Brandon) Keever, Rebecca Rose, Jessica Rose, and Jennifer Rose; and brother H. Randolph (Martha) Hunter.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 4 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend JW Wallis officiated. The family received friends prior to the service at the funeral home.
