Carolyn Louise Bearden, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014.
She was a loyal member of Lisbon Baptist Church. She spent much of her time volunteering at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Gift Shop and the Fayetteville Senior Citizens Center. She also especially loved to cook for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Bearden and parents Virgil & Minnie Wyatt.
She is survived by her son Gary L. (Linda) Cook of Brookhaven; daughter Terri (Mitch) Elliott of Acworth; grandchildren Amanda (Michael) Bridgewater of Woodstock and Brittany (Kevin) Hubbell of Marietta; great-grandchildren Addison Lynn and Anderson James; siblings Eddie Wyatt of Tuscaloosa, AL, Margie (Tony) Coppolino of Fayetteville, Ronald (Judy) Wyatt of Senoia; Ray (Mattie) Wyatt of Brookwood, Ala., and Darrell (Barbara) Wyatt of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; several nieces & nephews; and step-sons Alan Bearden, David Bearden, Jeff Bearden, and Tim Bearden & their families that she loved like her own.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Danny Wilson officiated. The burial followed at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family received friends prior to the service from at the funeral home.
