Beatrice Cadwallader Wharton, 81, passed away July 3, 2014.

She was the wife of Dr. Charles Wharton of Peachtree City. Beatrice graduated from the University of Cincinnati and taught high school math. She also worked for many years in the business world. When Charles’ job took them to Florida she went back to teaching. Up until her retirement she taught high school students who were homebound because of serious injury or illness.

She is survived by her husband Charles H. Wharton, of Peachtree City, Ga., brother, Rayburn Cadwallader, of Florida, daughter, Laura L Wharton, (husband Steve Hudjera), of Peachtree City, Ga., sons, Charles R. Wharton, (wife Karen) Indianapolis; Douglas M. Wharton, (wife Susan), Cincinnati; Paul F. Wharton (wife Suzanne) Philadelphia.

She is also survived by four grandchildren Charles G. Wharton, Taipai, Taiwan, Jack R. Wharton, Orlando, Fla., Amy W. Holland, (husband Drew), of Philadelphia and Madeline L. Wharton, of Boston.

As well as being the best ever wife, mother and grandmother, she was an athlete, musician, gourmet cook and an expert with needlepoint.
