0An electrical fire outside City Hall in Peachtree City on Sunday afternoon cut utilities to the building and caused the closure of the eastern portion of Willowbend Road (between Hip Pocket Road and Highway 54 by the Presbyterian Church and City Hall). Utility crews remain at work Monday morning, and City Hall and the Library will be closed until at least noon on Monday. Other City facilities are open but may not have telephone or Internet access.
Residents can continue to dial 911 for emergencies.
The fire involved a utility pole and mechanical boxes outside City Hall that carried multiple utilities serving City facilities.
