Elizabeth Horne, 94, of Fayetteville

Elizabeth Horne, 94, of Fayetteville, Ga. died July 24, 2014. She was born on September 25, 1919 in Montgomery County, Ga. to parents, Martin McQueen and Ruth Riggs McQueen.

She was a devoted wife and mother. She outlived 2 husbands and her son. 

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ogletree; stepdaughters, Alice McClanahan and Becky West; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She worked at East Point Chevrolet for 30 years. The family wishes to thank the exceptional staff at Dogwood Forest and Homestead Hospice.

Services were held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church on 1097 Hwy 92 N, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214 at 2 p.m. A visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Internment was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Ga.

In lieu of flowers anyone wishing may send contributions to Antioch Baptist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
