Vance Frederick Lusk, Jr., 63, of Fayetteville, passed away July 17, 2014.
Mr. Lusk was a retired middle school teacher with Henry County Schools System. He spent 30 years teaching middle school at Stockbridge Middle School and Dutchtown Middle School. He was a faithful member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, Fayetteville and was very passionate about theology. He was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frances & Vance F. Lusk, Sr.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne “Suzie” Lusk of Fayetteville; daughter Katie Beth Lusk of Atlanta; cousin Mary Lou Chiles of Greenville, S.C.; and loyal pet Penny.
A memorial service was held Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Kimberly Schmitt Holman officiated. The family received friends Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
