A Company of Friends Theatrical Productions presents their professional troupe in the hilarious, audience participation, musical production “The Princess and the Pea” accompanied by a fun after show party at the Royal Castle.

Come meet all the zany characters of the kingdom and share in the fun of this 45-minute musical that has been touring Georgia since late May to audience cheers and standing room only performance. You will meet the kind King Rudolph (Zach Shaefer) and stuck-up Queen Penelope (Jennifer Doxey on Friday and Alison Chambers on Saturday), who loves the color red.

Also part of the story is the pompous Prince Philip (Tad Emerson White) who is an absolute Mamma’s Boy, yet somehow seems intrigued with the very unconventional Princess Maude (Jacqueline Berthold on Friday and Taylor Farrar on Saturday,) who is from the Kingdom of the Gnomes and arrives at the palace soaking wet and hates the color red. The whole funny tale is woven together by the crazy Court Jester (Amanda Love on Friday and Tammy Barton on Saturday) who will invite several audience members onstage to help with the show.

After each performance all will experience a fun Castle Party hosted by the cast, that will feature…homemade cupcakes, Royal Ruby Red Sparkling Punch, freshly popped popcorn, games with prizes and plenty of photo opportunities! This excellent event is ideal for the entire family and will take place at the Fayetteville Train Depot at 250 Lanier Ave. East in Fayetteville on Friday and Saturday, July 11 and 12 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

Seating is very limited, so making reservations is highly recommended. Tickets include the show and castle party and are only $8 by reservation. If tickets remain at showtime, they will be available at the door for $10. To make your reservations call 770-251-7611 or e-mail acofdirector1@gmail.com.
