Fayetteville’s Gospel Community Church Community Group raised over $500 towards restoring the playground at Weatherly Walk in Fayetteville. Group members also provided the labor to clean the playground, install new swings and slide, mulch, basketball backboard, rim and net. Village Paint of Fayetteville supplied paint and supplies to paint the backstop and play set.
The families and members of the local community were invited to join the celebration, games and food that were provided on April 26 when the Grand Opening was held.
