Kelly Porter Productions and The Fred Amphitheater announced today that two very special guests will be appearing at the May 10 show at The Fred featuring former Celtic Woman Lisa Kelly.
Chloë Agnew, another former Celtic Woman performer, is an internationally renowned singer and will join Lisa on stage along with one of Ireland’s premier tenors, Paul Byrom.
Kelly shot to fame for her integral part as the youngest and one of the original members of the world-famous music group Celtic Woman which she joined when she was just 14.
She is already a music veteran at the age of 24.
Born in Dublin, Ireland to entertainer Adéle “Twink” King and Irish oboist David Agnew, Chloë was practically born on the stage and at a very early age enjoyed professionally acting, singing and dancing. She made her first television appearance on her mother’s TV program at just four weeks old, going on to make her first singing debut on National Television at the age of six.
The debut show was taped on September 15, 2004 for PBS at The Helix, Dublin, Ireland, in front of a sold-out audience.
The subsequent TV special was first broadcast on PBS during March Pledge 2005 in the United States, and within weeks the group’s eponymous debut album, “Celtic Woman”, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s World Music chart. It eventually broke Andrea Bochelli’s long-standing record of chart-topping longevity on July 22, 2006 having stayed at No. 1 for 68 weeks. The album held the top position on the Billboard World Music chart for 81 weeks total.
Their second album, “Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration,” was released on October 19, 2006 and eventually knocked their first album to the No. 2 spot on the World Music chart.
To date, Agnew is featured on a total of 14 of Celtic Woman’s albums, recording songs in English, Irish, Latin, Japanese, Italian and German on their various albums, which have sold more than eight million copies worldwide, and all of which have debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s World Music chart.
Celtic Woman have sold out concerts in prestigious venues across the globe from Carnegie Hall -NYC, Red Rocks, Colorado, Radio City Music Hall to several Arenas in Europe, Japan and Australia, performing for almost three million fans.
Agnew has performed with Celtic Woman on hit U.S. TV shows such as “Dancing with the Stars,” “Regis and Kelly, “ “The Today Show” and “Good Morning America” and many more. In 2013 Celtic Woman made a guest appearance on the hugely successful show ‘Bold and the Beautiful’.
Agnew also has had the incredible honor of performing for the last three consecutive U.S. presidents before she turned 20.
In 2009, she collaborated with renowned Italian tenor, Alessandro Rinella and Warner Chapel Music Producer Leo Z on the song “L’Assenza”. She has also had the pleasure of working with many other artists through Celtic Woman over the years, including Chris De Burgh, Anne Murray and Selim Kagee to name but a few.
In 2012, Agnew was named Best Female Vocalist at the Irish Music Awards.
In August 2013, after almost 10 years, she decided to move on from Celtic Woman to pursue a solo career. Since then she has had the honor of performing to over 15,000 people as a special guest at Croke Park’s Stars, Choirs and Carols, a Guinness Book of Records concert. Most recently she performed alongside Paul Potts, Jack L and Claudia Boyle as part of the Mooney Tunes Concert Series at the Bord Gais Energy Center in Dublin, Ireland.
After performing on the Saturday Night Show live in December, 2013, she released her first solo single ‘Love is Christmas’, which debuted in the top 10 in the iTunes charts.

Paul Byrom (at left) is often hailed as one of Ireland’s premier tenors. From an early age his special vocal talent brought him to the attention of music coaches and talent spotters.
The Dublin-born tenor began voice training when he was just seven years old and went on to study as a tenor under the legendary Dr. Veronica Dunne, Ireland’s leading lady of opera and a renowned vocal teacher.
He became a professional singer by the age of 12 when cast in his first opera wth the National Concert Orchestra of Ireland and recorded his first album “The Golden Voice” as a boy soprano at 14.
His second release, entitled VELVET, was in 2005 and reached No. 2 in the Irish music charts. This led to many appearances on Irish Television and Radio, including “Celebrity Jigs and Reels” where he reached the grand final. Paul went on to release his Christmas album entitled “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” in 2008, which charted in the Classical Billboard Charts.
His talent as a tenor has taken him far and wide, and some of the many highlights of his career to date include performing for many dignitaries such as Irish President Mary McAleese, Emperor Akihito of Japan, Former Irish President and UN Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson and most recently for United States President, Barack Obama.
He is an avid sports fan and he has also performed at many large-scale and high profile sporting events such as six All-Ireland Finals in Croke Park, Dublin, International rugby games in Landsdowne Road and the new Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
Internationally, he has performed anthems for the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field and for the world renowned football team, Barcelona. He is very proud now to be a regular at the TD Garden, for the Boston Celtics basketball team and most recently performed for the famous baseball team, the Phillies.
In 2007 Paul became one of the original soloists in the show Celtic Thunder.
Fans call Byrom ”The Swanky Tenor” for his suave and romantic style in performing, which is stamped on such numbers as “Remember Me, Recuerde Me” and “She”.
He has since left the production and his latest album “This is The Moment” debuted at No.1 on the World Billboard Charts. This was followed by his first solo tour of North America.
It’s safe to say, he has gone from strength to strength, finishing 2012 by being named Irish Tenor of the Year by the Irish Music Association.
2013 was an exciting year for the Dublin-born tenor. Tourism Ireland recently asked Paul to be “The Gathering ambassador for culture and music.”
He along with other well known Irish faces in music will spread the word about Ireland and the great reasons to return home during this year of “The Gathering.
In March he filmed his first solo TV special for Public Television called “This is the Moment Live” in Pennsylvania with his orchestra, and musical director Phil Coulter.
The show is now airing throughout the United States on Public Television, with later broadcasts in other regions soon to follow.
