WHITEWATER (baseball) defeated Union Grove Union Grove 7-2 Tuesday night. Ethan Gillis and John Hendershot combined to stifle the opposition on the mound, and the Wildcat bats came to life in the third. Nick Fuerstenau got the inning going with a solo home run, and the rest of the Wildcat hitters joined in with multiple hits.

WHITEWATER (tennis) lost to Northgate Wednesday, the girls 5-0 and the boys 4-0.

STARR’S MILL (girls soccer) pummeled Mundy’s Mill 11-0 Thursday in a region match. Scoring for the Lady Panthers were Riley Clark (4 goals), Jenna Currin (1 goal 5 assists), Ashley Broderick (2 goals 1 assist), Lauren Yoss (2 goals), Sarah Yoss (1 goal 2 assists), Leslie Logan (1 goal 1 assist), and Ariana Przybyszewski (1 assist). The win raises the team’s record to 9-1-0 on the season and 4-0-0 in Region 4-AAAAA.
