0William “Mike” Michael Dawkins, 63, of Fayetteville, passed away March 3, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Janet Dawkins of Fayetteville; mother Addie Dawkins of Pinehurst, N.C.; son William “Scooter” Michael Dawkins, Jr. of Atlanta; daughter Wendy & husband Todd Carter of Loganville; grandchildren Blake, Brennan, and Brantley Carter; brothers John and Tom; sisters Sylvia and Jenny; as well as nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Fayetteville. Pastor Justin Kollmeyer will officiate. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
