0Mr. Thomas Herbert (Tom) Roberts, Jr. of Fayetteville passed away February 11, 2014.
He was retired from the Fulton County Board of Education where he served as a teacher and a principal for several schools.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie Brown Roberts of Fayetteville; daughter, Melanie Roberts McBride and her husband Jim of Fayetteville; sisters, Mary Louise Roberts of Citrus Springs, Fla.; Elizabeth Anne Shelton of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Robert, Molly, Joseph, Megan and Maggie McBride.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Cross officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
