Jimmie Ann Young Davis, 69, of Peachtree City, passed away January 3, 2014. Jimmie Ann was born and raised in Greenwood, S.C. where she met her husband, Mike, of 48 years. Mike and Jimmie Ann moved to Peachtree City in 1969. She was a beloved teacher in Peachtree City for over 20 years.
She loved her family dearly. She was also known for her love of the Atlanta Falcons.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Caroline Young and brother Robert Blondell Young. She is survived by her husband Mike Davis; son Michael Davis and his wife Autumn; daughter Gala Davis and her husband Ernie Johnson; grandchildren Braeden and Murphie Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City.
