Surviving the Holidays is a special one-session program produced by GriefShare, a Christ-centered grief support group program. It will be held on Jan. 5 at Fayette Presbyterian Church and is open to all the community.

For many, in past years the holiday season has been a time of great anticipation and excitement. However, this year the prospect of having faced the holidays without a loved one may have caused anxiety and great sadness.

Surviving the Holidays seminars are warm, encouraging and helpful events. Featuring video instruction and group discussion, they deal with the intense pain of grief experienced during the holiday season. Those who attend will not only be helped with the past holidays angst but will find strength, healing, and tools to move forward in their daily walk through the deep pain of grief.

This event can be a turning point when joining others in a supportive class during the holidays. To get more information or adequately prepare for this seminar, RSVP (not required) via the church office at 770-461-7147.

Fayette Presbyterian Church is located at 791 Forest Ave. (Ga. Hwy. 92 N.), Fayetteville. For more info on the church, visit www.fayettepcusa.org.
