Mr. Jack Nolan Thomas, age 71, died on December 8, 2013.
He was born in the Noah Community of Manchester, Tenn. on February 22, 1942, to the late Robert Leland Thomas and Rose Adeline Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Gale Thomas.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Alice Thomas, his sister Wanda Lou Hannah, his five daughters, Traci, Kelly, Tara Nicole, Jenifer, and Lara, and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jack resided in Georgia from 1969, until moving to central Florida in 2003. He passed away at home after battling Lewy Body Dementia / Parkinson Disease. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mayo Clinic (MayoClinic.org/match).
Jack was a current member of Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, Ga. Previously he was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Haines City, Fla. He was a charter member of the Peachtree City Running Club, competing in multiple marathons and triathlons, including the New York City Marathon. He was president of the Peachtree City Jaycees and Vice President of the Riverdale Jaycees in the 1970’s. He was a charter member of the Peachtree City Maverick’s Singles Club where he met his wife.
Jack was an alumnus of The Webb School in Bellbuckle, Tenn. and Manchester High School in Manchester, Tenn. He attended Middle Tennessee State University. He retired after 35 years from Ford Motor Company, Parts Distribution Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, Ga. with Rev. John Fraser officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 5-7 p.m.
