Fayette County Sheriff’s Office investigators want to locate the person or persons responsible for a break-in last week at a self-storage facility on North Glynn Street in Fayetteville where 28 storage units were entered.

Sheriff Barry Babb said the perpetrators forced entry into 28 storage units, of which four were unoccupied, and removed some of the contents.

“The crimes are classified as burglary in the 2nd degree as they are not designed for living, but the perpetrator entered each compartment and committed a theft therein,” Babb said.

Anyone with any information pertaining to this crime is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 770-461-6353.
