Katie “Ruth” Lawrimore, 75, of Senoia

Katie “Ruth” Lawrimore, 75, of Senoia, passed away September 13, 2013.

She was born in Bells, Tenn. to the late Delbert and Genie Eaves. She was a loving wife and mother who always showed a strong faith in the Lord.

After high school, she moved to Memphis. While working at Memphis Bank & Trust, she met her husband. In 1972, she and her family moved to East Point, Ga. She always stayed active, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School in her church, including Red Oak Baptist, Senoia Baptist, East Newnan Baptist and currently Haralson Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her son Ty Lawrimore. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Lawrimore; daughter Lene’ (Rick) Neidert of Senoia; son Todd (Patti) Lawrimore of Sandy Springs; grandchildren Leslie Neidert, Lee Neidert, and William Lawrimore; brother Jack Eaves of Mississippi; and sister Mary (Jim) Richardson of Texas.

A funeral service was held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Drew Ross officiated. The burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bells, Tenn., in care of Ronk Funeral Home, Bells, Tenn.
