0Elvin Greene White, 85, of Fayetteville passed away August 9, 2013.
He served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was a faithful member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Charlotte White; daughters Karen (Steve) Hunter, Dr. Gayle (Barry) Littlefield, and Mary Anne White; grandchildren Brett Hunter and Barry Lee Littlefield Jr.; and brother Ed (Margie) White.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Glenn Stringham and Rev. Jim Thomas officiated. The burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park.
The family received friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
