Ethan Nicholas Bishop was born on June 19, 2013 at 1:15 p.m. at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He weighed 4 pounds 15 ounces and was 16 and inches tall. His eyes radiated peace and confidence in the Lord. Many people that actually looked into them said they were so much like his sister, Ryanne’s. His precious little nose looked just like his brother, Leo’s. His skin was bright and clear and smelled of the innocence of new life. The hair upon his head was the brightest and most glorious red that reminded us of his uncle’s and great-great grandfather’s hair as soon as we saw it. His little fingers were formed without blemish and with all purity that can only be known by new life. His tiny feet have walked more ground for Christ than most men will walk in the entirety of their lives. But most importantly was his presence. His simple and profound presence left grown men in tears and the strongest of the strong humbled by the mighty existence of such a precious creation. Our precious Ethan lived a glorious 21 minutes before going to be with his Heavenly Father.

Ethan is survived by parents Nicholas and Lauren Evans Bishop, brother Leo Bishop and sister Ryanne Bishop of Fayetteville. Ethan leaves behind maternal grandparents, Chris and Triffy Pacitti of Fayetteville, Chuck and Bobbie Evans of Culloden, Cow Granny Beverly Evans of Griffin, and paternal grandparents Richard and Jackie Thompson of Fayetteville, and paternal great grandparents Chip and Betty Laurendine of Tennessee. Ethan also leaves behind aunts and uncles, Ashley and Adam Jones, Stephanie and Tim Cross, Kari Schmutzler, Paul and Audrey Evans, Ricky Thompson, Victoria Thompson, John and Lisa Bates, Yoanna Tindell, Jeremiah and Jessica Bishop, and Stacy and Tracy Nichols, and many cousins, followers, and friends in Christ. Ethan is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Gregory Bishop, and great grandfather Virgil Nelson, also maternal great grandparents Billy and Connie Evans, and Opal Hendricks.
