Darren James Smith, 53, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 from complications arising from ALS, after suffering for 10 years but never giving into it.
He was born March 16, 1960 in Kenner, La. to William Frank Smith and Margherita Smith; siblings, Denise Cain, Karen Lewis and Judy Moore.
Darren worked for the Tiburon Corporation managing resorts but began his career working for Hilton Hotels Corporation followed by Nobel House Management Corporation.
He is survived by his wife Linda L. Dayle Smith; daughters Alexandra M. Smith and Danielle N. Smith.
A memorial service was held Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Fayetteville Church of Christ, 870 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville, Ga. 30215.
