A special workshop, “The Hidden Dangers of Pornography, Its Infiltration into Family, Church, and Society,” will be offered on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Sharpsburg.
Dr. Judy Massey, who directs the ministry development department for the Diocese of the Mid-South (Charismatic Episcopal Church), has announced that the workshop will be led by David and Carol Winkles of Trinity Fellowship Assemblies of God Church, Sharpsburg, and by The Rev. Joe and Sheryl Liptak of Church of the Holy Cross, Fayetteville.
Topics to be examined include: What the Bible has to say; choices and root causes; guilt and consequences; accountability; healing; and access to follow-up resources. There will also be general sessions for all participants and gender-specific breakout sessions.
The cost is $10 per person which includes lunch and a booklet and pre-registration is required. Checks should be made out to Church of the Holy Cross and mailed to Dr. Judy Massey, 219 Crescent Oak, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
