A man headed to work at the Walgreens pharmacy on Ga. Highway 85 in Fayetteville late Monday night was robbed at gunpoint by two men who took his belongings and fled on foot toward the North Jeff Davis Drive area.
Fayetteville Det. Mike Whitlow said the victim was across the street from Walgreens at approximately 11:15 p.m. when two men approached him. One of the men grabbed him and removed his belongings from his pockets while the other man held a gun on him, Whitlow said.
The men then fled on foot in the direction of North Jeff Davis Drive, said Whitlow.
The men were 5’10”-11” in height, with one described as light-skinned and the other dark-skinned. Both were wearing red bandanas and blue jeans and one wore a dark hoodie, Whitlow said.
