0Mrs. Brenda Adams Matthews of Fayetteville passed away on Dec. 18, 2012.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Thomas H. (Tommy) Matthews, Sr.; daughter, Amy Matthews FitzGerald and her husband, Michael of Fayetteville; son, Thomas H. (Brent) Matthews, Jr. of Senoia; sisters, Jackie Davis and her husband, Bobby of Peachtree City; Sandra Brown and her husband, Melvin of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Ali, Maddie and Trey FitzGerald; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Tyrone with Rev. Frank Powers officiating. Interment followed at Sharon Memorial Gardens.
