Mrs. Nancy Burnett, 83, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away Dec. 14, 2012.
She was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pa. on Oct. 26, 1929 to Ralph Lau and Bessie Rupp Lau. Mrs. Burnett attended college & earned a degree in sociology. Not only was Nancy a talented singer but she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lt. Colonel Richard Burnett. Sr.
She is survived by her sons Rick Burnett & wife Caroline of Peachtree City, Randy Burnett & wife Sue of Peachtree City; 4 grandchildren Ricky, Michelle, Erin & Kristin along with nieces & nephews Sandy, Jim & Marcy.
A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and Pastor Fritz Wiese & Miriam Beecher officiated. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
