Kazuo Kondoh, 77, of Peachtree City expired on Dec. 3, 2012.
Kazuo is survived by his wife, Kazuko Sano Kondoh, daughter Misae Kondo Jennings (Jason Jennings), and son Michihiko Kondo (Akiko Aiga Kondo).
Kazuo was a translator and writer by profession and had his first published article in an American newspaper in 1958. His earnest desire was to study English outside of Japan. Though he was unable to do this, he saw his ambitions fulfilled in both his children as his son was educated in England and his daughter graduated from college in the U.S. The last twenty months of his life, Kazuo and his wife lived with his daughter and son-in-law in Peachtree City – finally realizing his dream of “studying” in an English-speaking land.
