Word of God Lutheran Church announces midweek Advent services

Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will hold mid-week Advent services on Wednesday evenings starting Nov. 28. Each week before the service there will be a soup supper beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the worship service at 7 p.m. The soup suppers will be prepared by different church ministry groups each week.

After the Nov. 28 service, worshippers are invited to stay to decorate the Christmas tree and enjoy homemade cookies.

The remaining Advent services will be on Dec. 5, 12, and 19.
