Ferne L. Clem, 99, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away November 10, 2012.
She was born July 12, 1913 in Alma, Ill. to the late Riley Williams and Hattie Chance. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Clem worked as a sales clerk for Mabry Paint and Glass for over 25 years and was a charter member of the Northern Baptist Church of West Frankfort, Ill.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Ira, Loren and Burdette and sister Ruth.
She is survived by her son Ron Clem of Fayetteville; grandchildren Randy & Brooke Clem of Peachtree City and Mike & Laura Clem of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren Ryan, Chase, Tyler, Charlie and Will; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The Reverend Kenneth Brown officiated. The burial followed at Westminster Gardens in Peachtree City.
The family received friends Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m.
