0Camp Southern Ground received a boost from the Nov. 3 Southern Ground Tailgatin’ Show featuring a special performance by Zac Brown Band.
The fundraising event, held at Fayetteville’s Southern Ground Amphitheater, scored big with a silent auction, performance, and tailgating party for the UGA/Ole Miss game that raised awareness for Zac Brown’s non-profit Camp Southern Ground.
Located just southwest of Fayetteville, Camp Southern Ground will offer a unique destination for youth of diverse abilities, socioeconomic backgrounds, race, and religion to learn life skills and teamwork in a positive, healthy, and organic environment. Camp Southern Ground is planning to open in 2014.
“Zac and his Camp Southern Ground team would like to thank Brian Wismer and Fayetteville Main Street, sponsors ACE Group Private Risk Services, Private Client Insurance, Carhartt, Creekstone Farms Premium Beef, Dr. Pepper, Homrich Berg, NASCAR Unites, Perkins + Will, Twitter, and everyone who attended for their support,” said camp spokesperson Desiree Morris.
