0Mary M. Cave, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away on Oct. 19, 2012.
She was very involved in her singing group, Celebration, at Christ’s Church at Whitewater where she was a founding member. She retired from ASA/Delta Airlines in 1999 as an analyst.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Georgianna Thompson and grandson, Andrew Jordan Cave.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charlie Cave of Fayetteville; daughter Shana Cave Preisler of Broomfield, Colo.; sons Bryan Cave of Lawrenceville and Barry Cave of Fayetteville; daughter Julie Cave of Fayetteville; sister Sue Kaiser of 29 Palms, Calif.; brother Bill (Debbie) Greak of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at the Christ’s Church at Whitewater, Fayetteville. Mrs. Cave will lie in state beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Stephen Carpenter and Reverend Paul Carrier officiated.
The burial followed at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family received friends on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
