‘Miles for Miles 5K’ fundraiser Oct. 6

A fundraiser for 9 year-old Newnan resident Miles Davis will be held Oct. 6 at the Ashley Park pavilion in Newnan. The proceeds will help with the family’s medical expenses associated with his diagnosis of Mixed Lineage Leukemia.

Pre-registration for the “Miles for Miles 5K” is $25 and can be accessed online at www.active.com

Registration in person at Stonebridge Early Learning Center is $25, while registration on the day of the event at Ashley Park shopping pavilion located at 450 Newnan Crossing Bypass is $30.

Race sponsorships are also available at $100, $350 and $500.
The Oct. 6 race starts at 7:30 a.m. A t-shirt and goodie bag will be presented to all participants.

All proceeds from the event will help offset expenses associated with Miles’ treatment and bone marrow transplant at Egleston Children’s Hospital.
