0Historic Bethany United Methodist Church in north Fayette County will have its Homecoming celebration Sunday, Sept. 30, beginning with the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. No Sunday school classes will be held.
Long-time Bethany member Bert McDade will do the preaching honors and live gospel music will be featured.
Attendees are asked to bring a well-filled basket for food and fellowship on the grounds following the service.
Organized about 1856, Bethany UMC is at the intersection of Rivers/Milam roads and Lee’s Lake Road.
