Class on holy scripture starts tonight at Christ the King

“The Canon of Holy Scripture” is the class that begins Wednesday Aug. 8, from 7:30 – 9 p.m. in the Parish Life Center at the Cathedral of Christ the King.

Included in this study will be the books of the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the “inter-testamental writings,” commonly known as “the Apocrypha.”

The class will meet each Wednesday for 10 weeks and child care is available.

There is no charge for the class.

The instructor will be the Rev.Father Dr. James Taylor, a priest at Christ the King and the senior chaplain at Fayette Piedmont Hospital.

The church is at 4881 Ga. Hwy. 34 E., Sharpsburg.
