Fraser accepts call to Word of God Lutheran
The Rev. John T. Fraser of North Carolina has accepted a call from Word of God Lutheran Church (NALC/LCMC affiliations) to become its new senior pastor. Fraser will begin his ministry the first week in September. There will be an installation service later in the fall. Fraser and his wife, Cara, will move to the area in late August. Vendors needed for craft bazaar

GriefShare starts at Holy Trinity
The 14-week GriefShare Christian support group will be offered on Wednesday evenings at Holy Trinity Catholic Church from 7-9 p.m. starting Aug. 8, and on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. beginning Aug, 10. Meetings include a video seminar and an opportunity to interact and share with others who have lost a loved one. Holy Trinity, is at 101 Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City next to McIntosh High School. Divorce Care will begin meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in room 300 at Peachtree City United Me thodist Church, 225 Robinson Rd. DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand the pain of separation and divorce and who want to help.
